How to use the Text Pages of the Graphical and Additional Style Assessments

The text pages that accompany the Graphical Page and the ten Additional Style assessments (Sales, Leadership, Customer Service, Entrepreneur, IT, Management, Office, Project, Team and Trainer) identify two main areas:

1.  The top four strengths – items that require little energy.Extended DISC Training & Products at Talent Tools

This section identifies four behavioural dimensions that are the most natural of the individual’s style and offers suggestions as to how not to overuse one’s strengths so that they become weaknesses.

2.  The top four development areas - items that require a lot of energy.

This section identifies four behavioural dimensions that are the least natural of the individual’s style and offers suggestions as to how to modify one’s behaviour to become more successful.

Under each section we suggest that you help your training session participants or coaching clients to identify one item that is the most relevant to their current situation and will have the most positive impact on their performance.

Remember:

Focus only on one – if you select too many, no change in behaviour will take place
Re-evaluate the items periodically to ensure they are still the most relevant
